Earn PDU’s from the Project Management Institute

My 2 Cost Reduction courses and Strategic Sourcing course on LinkedIn Learning have now received accreditation from the illustrious Project Management Institute (“PMI”) Inc.

Apparently, the usual process to obtain PMI accreditation is difficult, so when I returned from my Christmas break to find that my courses had been automatically accredited via LinkedIn Learning, I was absolutely delighted.

Qualification holders from the Institute have to accumulate between and 15 and 60 hours of Professional Development Units (“PDU’s”) over a 3-year cycle in order to retain their qualification.

It’s similar to the mandatory Continuing Professional Development (“CPD”) that many qualified people across multiple business sectors (lawyers, architects, accountants etc) have to do, and formally record each year.

So if you hold a PMP, CAPM, PgMP, PfMP, PMI-PBA, PMI-ACP, PMI-RMP, PMI-SP, DASM, DASSM, DAC, DAVSC or PMI-CP qualification, when you take both my courses, you’ll earn 1.5 PDU’s.

Not only will you earn the PDU’s, but you’ll learn 16 cost reduction tools that can help you successfully deliver your projects on, or under budget!

Wishing you success.
